User Journey: Express Checkout with Apple Pay
Journey Steps
This outlines the seamless user flow for your customers leveraging Banxa's Express Checkout with Apple Pay.
-
Partner Initiates Order:
Your platform creates a buy order, specifying Apple Pay. This uses our existing Create Buy Order API call, with your account pre-configured for Express Checkout. -
User Confirmation & Apple Pay:
The user sees a single, concise page to confirm terms, country of residence, and then authorises payment via the Apple Pay button. -
Instant Completion or Dynamic Onboarding:
- Express Tier Met: If the order (amount, region) meets Express Checkout limits, the transaction completes instantly after Apple Pay authorisation.
- Additional Verification: If limits are exceeded, the user is seamlessly directed to any necessary onboarding, like further KYC verification (/verification) or more comprehensive checks, based on our configured rules.
Current Express Limits:
- Europe & Canada: Up to €500 per single transaction for their first completed order.
- United States: Up to $250 per week (multiple transactions permitted).
- Excludes NY, LA, TX, PA, WA, WI.
- Most of World: Up to €500 per single transaction for their first completed order.
- Excludes Australia.
